This notice is provided as a result of the anticipated filing of an application for permanent labor certification for this job opportunity. JOB TITLE: Worship Pastor
WORK LOCATION: 8330 212th St SW Edmonds, WA 98026
JOB DUTIES:
• Lead congregational worship services grounded in Scripture and aligned with sermon themes, consistent with the church's doctrine, mission, and vision. (35%)
• Disciple, mentor, and provide spiritual and musical guidance to worship team members, musicians, and volunteers consistent with church doctrine, including supporting and accompanying the worship team through proficiency in at least two of the following instruments: piano/keyboard, drums, bass, or guitar, as needed. (15%)
• Support the Senior Pastor through worship planning, teaching, and related pastoral initiatives as requested, and perform ministerial functions, including communion, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and child dedications. (10%)
• Lead and develop Spanish-language ministry outreach, including establishing relationships within the Spanish-speaking community, identifying and equipping bilingual volunteers and emerging leaders, and progressively developing Spanish-language ministry activities such as Bible studies, prayer gatherings, and worship services. (20%)
• Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral oversight of the church's digital and online ministry presence, ensuring alignment with the church's doctrine and mission. (20%)
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5 years experience as Worship Pastor
· Able to read, write and speak English and Spanish
· Experience conducting ministry activities in both English and Spanish.
· Experience leading music for worship services, including providing instrumental accompaniment and musical leadership through proficiency in at least two of the following instruments: piano/keyboard, drums, bass, or guitar.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: $73,112 per year
BENEFITS: 2 weeks paid vacation
