HERE IS WHAT WE BELIEVE
The following are the core beliefs of Calvary Chapel Edmonds based on the foundational truths taught from the Bible. All of our teachings and ministries are rooted in and flow out of these Biblical doctrines.
WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God.
WE BELIEVE
There is one God who eternally exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE
The Holy Spirit was sent to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and He regenerates and indwells every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He empowers us to live as witnesses for Christ.
WE BELIEVE
That God created human beings, male and female, in His own image.
WE BELIEVE
All people are sinners by nature and in need of a Savior, and that Jesus Christ is the one and only Savior of the world.
WE BELIEVE
The Church will one day be raptured in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
WE BELIEVE
In the Resurrection of the dead. We believe that God will create a new Heaven and earth in which righteousness will dwell for eternity.
WE BELIEVE
That marriage is to be between a man and a woman. We also believe from the truth of the Bible that sexual relations are to be exercised and enjoyed solely within marriage. We believe that God created man and that He created them male and female. As such, He created them differently so as to complement and complete each other.
WE BELIEVE
That all human life is sacred and created equal by God.
